Examples of the many and varied projects we have undertaken include…

• The OEM development of a D-Dimer latex agglutination assay. This has been a great success for our client, and sales have grown year on year from around 500 kits in 2008 to predicted orders approaching 1500 kits in 2011.
• The development of a range of reagents for a brand new, globally distributed diagnostics instrument has been the main focus for 2 of HBI’s research staff over the last 2 years. HBI’s successful development of high quality, innovative products had resulted in a strong market position for both the reagents and instrument, and development of new products for the range continues.
• The development and validation of instrument applications, enabling our client to supply their haemostasis product range to a major Italian diagnostics company. The project proved successful and the relationship has generated further work for HBI to help improve and develop our client’s Haemostasis portfolio.
